Charity Work

Nicky has been involved with charity a lot. He has participated in the Music Industry
Soccer Six Games (a charity for "Help A London Child") a couple of times. He also
took part in Sky One's Dream Team twice (in 2003 and in 2004). This was to raise up
money for Childline. Childline is Irelands no.1 children's charity. In 2005 he played
soccer to raise up money for the victims of the Tsunami.
In 2001 there was a brunch in Amsterdam and Westlife gave a small concert. They sung

songs of their (back then) new album Coast to Coast. The money went to Warchild.
Since Westlife are around they have performed at the Childline Concert (it's the same
charity as Sky One's Dream Team) every year. Nicky has hosted it three times.
In 2002 with Kerry Katona, in 2003 and Mark Feehily and Brian McFadden and in
2004 again with Brian.
In 2004 Westlife attended "Ein Herz Fuer Kinder" in Germany. It's a charity for
children in need.

In 2005 Nicky took part in the Nivea For Men Ronnie Whelan Gold Classic, which raises
money for charities such as the Marie Keating Foundation.
Kian Egan, follow bandmember, and his girlfriend Jodi Albert jumped out of plane
to help the earthquake victims in Java. Kian said that Nicky was for doing it too
but when he told him he could actually arrange it he backed out. Instead Nicky
sponsored the jump.
