Album Thank Yous

Westlife
Well what can I say? One year has gone by and already our first album! I never would have thought that on that Friday morning on the 'Dart' on my way to the auditions I was actually embarking on a musical career that would take me over the World and back. Performing on tv shows in countries I never even knew existed. So much has happened in such a short time, from karaoke to World-wide concerts. I owe everything to the following people, for their love and support, firstly my family. Mam (Yvonne), you are the most amazing person anyone could ever know, you make me who and what I am today. I can never thank you enough, I'm so lucky to have you. I love you dearly. Oh and sorry about the phone calls at 4am. Dad (Nikki "Nuca!") you are the kindest, most generous, easy-going person in the world. I can never repay you for all you've done for me. I know I'll never be as good a singer as you but I guess I'm doing the 'biz' now for you Dad eh! Sister Gillian, I still remember Saturday mornings with cereals, Saturday Superstore and the two of us squeezed into an armchair with Bros and Aha records on in the background! We're still as close as ever, thanks for everything Gill. Brother, Adam well Adzer what can I say? You're the coolest, best looking little bro anyone could ever have. The talents you have make me look forward to how successful you're gonna be, and I'll be there every step of the way pal! I would also like to thank my girlfriend Georgina. We've gone trough everthing together G and we're still as one. I love you so much, thanks for just being you. To my Nana and Grandad Byrne and Auntie Liz R.I.P. I miss you but I know you are watching over us. To Nana and Grandad McGarry thank you so much. Nana, thanks for all your prayers, medals, advice and of course the dinners! Grandad, thanks for all my one pound wages for fourteen years. I'm still working to repay you. Thanks, I love you both. To all my Aunties and Uncles Betty and Jim, Marie and my late uncle Paul. Con adn Liam, Bernadette and Paul, Gus and Barbara and Antonette and James. To all my cousins, Elaine, Richelle, Stephen, Jennifer, Graham, Kyle, Jessica, Lauren and my new Godson Ryan, Bernadette, Janet, Debbie, Nicola and Jamie and Jonathon. Thanks for everything. To my two best friends Cos and Skinner. You are unbelievable. I love you and remember Christmas Eve is our day so keep it free! To Louis and Ronan - Ronan, you have been a huge inspiration in my career and Louis, you're the real star! Thanks for making this happen. Anto, thank you. To Miriam, Bertie and Cecelia Ahern, thank you. Dustin the Turkey, thank you. And of course to the rest of Westlife, you are like family to me now. Shane, Kian, Mark and Bryan. God what a life we're living! Can you believe it! Cheers lads, long may it continue. To all our fans out there who bought this album, you make us who we are today and we can never thank you enough. We love you all, thank you so much. And finally I dedicate this album to my late cousin Kenneth Sherlock, whom we tragically lost earlier this year. Ken, not a day passes by that we don't think or speak of you or ask that famous question, why? You know Ken, people say time will heal, but I simply don't believe anything can heal the pain caused by you absence. Watch us and guide us Ken, keep us safe, you memory will never be forgotten. God, thanks for making me who I am. I am very lucky. To anyone I forgot, I'm sorry, but there are more albums to follow, I promise. Le grá. Go deo!

Nicky

Unbreakable - The Greatest Hits Vol.1
Over the past three or fours years I've mentioned, thanked and joked about everyone I love and who had a hand in my success and helped me to live my dream. The problem I face on this album is that those people haven't changed and I'm running out of thins to say ! Well how about "thank you so much. I love you". There are so many timewasters inb this business that I'm so lucky to have family, friends and a girlfriend who together keep me striving for more because they know how much it will destroy me not to secceed in whatever I do, so Mam, Dad, Gill, Adam, Mark and of course Georgina - we are on. Nana + Grandad, you two are exceptional - I love you all so much!! Miriam, Bertie, Cecelia and Dave Thank you. My best friends, you know who you are!! The other ladz, you are special, not a day passes that I don't laugh or freak at the stories we tell, do or hear!! ha ha "live the dream". Our team, Anto, Paul, Ben & Dave, woof! Our gaffer Louis, here's more to success, we'll drink to that!! And Ronan Keating thanks for all the chance you gave us. Sonny, Simon, Hasse, Ged, Shacky, Jacqui and all the gang at RCA. Thank you everyone at Outside. Over the past three years we owe a hell lot to our writers and producers especially Steve, Wayne, Chris and Dan at Rokstone and all the guys in Sweden. A special shout out to Alan McEvoy, your work doesn't go unnoticed to us, thank you!! And finally the most important and vital piece in our amazing jigsaw puzzle of success is you!! The people who support us by coming to our shows, buying our albums or even turning up our songs when they are on the radio! You don't believe how much you've helped us succeed and love the dream, and that's how I'll leave you. Believe, enjoy "live the dream". This album is dedicated to my family members who aren't with us anymore! Annie Byrne, James Byrne, Liz Gaffney and Kenneth Sherlock (R.I.P) PS You'll never be forgotten!! x

Turnaround
This time this is definitely going to be way shorter!! To all who have ever supported Westlife in the last five years - thank you. To all my family and friends you are my inspiration and have taught me to compete, achieve but most of all enjoy the last five years. Allow Us To Be Frank
This year we would firstly like to thank our Mums and Dads, our close families, our wives and our loved ones, for their continuing belief and their unwavering support: Without them we would not be Westlife.
Special thanks, as always, are reserved for our manager, Louis Walsh, who has been there for us, from the beginning.
Simon Cowell continues to be an integral part of our career development and we will always be indebted to him for his astounding insight. Similary, Sonny Takhar, at S Records, merits particular praise for his unswerving belief, right from the start. Sonny's tireless assistant, Dan Parker, has a very bright future. The continually high production standards achieved on all of our albums are down to only one man: Steve Mac. As this album will demonstrate, Steve passesses an outstanding ability to adapt his unique skills to any project. He is ably assisted by his resolute engineering staff, Chris and Dan. BMG Records has once again come through for us on this album and therefor we have to personally thanks Tim Bowen, Ged Doherty, Jacqui Quaife, Annette Millaer, Tony Fletcher, Dave Shack, Roger Jacobs, Nick Bray, Leighton Woods, Tonya Govender, Alex Crass, Nick Ralphs, Jon Davis, Dan Ayers, Nikki Watkins, Sarah Vaughan, Roma Martyniuk, Sharon Ashley, Tina Christoforou, Yoel Kenan, Mike O'Keefe, Neil Boote, Brian Regan, Steve Reeves and all of the BMG family worldwide.
A big thank you to Alan Edwards and Stuart Bell at the Outside Organisation for all their hard work on Westlife's PR.
We also greatly appreciate the efforts of our 24/7 team who live and breathe Westlife: Jake Duncan, Dave Last, Ben Mohapi, Faye Sawyer. Alan McEvoy and Liam Murphy, and all their staff at Livewire in assocation with Anita Kissane and her team at Price Waterhouse Coopers, work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our show on the road.
To Joanne Byrne and all at Prescence P.R in Dublin...Thanks a million.
Today's music business is indeed a complex world and we are fortunate to have Richard Bray and Nick Hart to steer us through the legal maze. Live touring is an extremely satisfying aspect for our careers; consequently without John Giddings and Steve Levitt, we would be unable to maintain our reputation for spectacular live shows.
Our three lead promoters present those same shows to a high standard: Barry Clayman at Clearchannel; Denis Desmond and Caroline Downey at MCD and Jim and Peter Aiken at Aiken promotions.
We are proud to host our own T.V. special, 'You're The One' this Christmas and for their supreme efforts in making this possible, we thank Nigel and Siobhan at Syco TV. As always, Jeff Thacker has given us his unparalleled support throughout the last campaign: good on you Jeff.
Particular thanks must go to our considerable array of un-named support staff - touring and otherwise - who have all done their bit to ensure that we are where we are today: we are indebted to you all. You know who you are. We're very lucky to have you.
Lest we forget, this album has been inspired by a gang of legendary guys. We wish we could have personally thanked Frank, Dean, Sammy Davis and Joey. Where ever you are right now guys, have a drink (or three) on us!
As we all know we were once five, but now four and therefor we would like to say a special thanks to Bryan for the five years of his life he dedicated to us. We wish him all the best in the future with his family, life and career. We look forward to seeing him at one of our future shows.
Finally we save our closing thanks to our legions of fans - of all ages- all around the world, who have stood by us for almost six years: welcome to the start of the next six! See you all on the "Live 05" tour. Kian. Mark, Nicky and Shane
